Janneke Vreede-Schaay works behind the scenes to keep Varsity Vine’s nest organized, ensuring every Birdie’s college journey is seamless, strategic, and full of possibilities. With decades of expertise in business management, customer relations, and education, she is dedicated to making the admissions process smooth, stress-free, and empowering.

A lifelong learner, Janneke holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Cape Town, and an MBA from The Citadel. Her commitment to education extends beyond her career, with board roles at organizations like the Gibbes Museum of Art, where she champions community engagement and education initiatives.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Janneke is a proud mom of two daughters and understands the balancing act of academics, extracurriculars, and big dreams. When not at work she can be found on the tennis court or spending time with her family.

Janneke’s goal is to help families navigate the college journey with confidence, clarity, and add a sprinkle of humor.
