Varsity Vine was created to celebrate and advance every student in its care — with authenticity and mindfulness. In a world gone mad with admission pressure, we take a step back to get to know each individual student as a person, learn about his or her authentic interests and goals, and work with the student and their families to create a personalized plan that feels balanced and right. We think beyond the brand-name schools, rankings, and traditional paths – always keeping “the right fit” as our goal. We are sensitive to the academic stress, social peer pressure, and mental health impacts students are facing in the college admission and matriculation process.

Varsity Vine was created to take the pressure off – not add to it. We are not in the business of crafting inauthentic or inflated narratives, coming up with extraneous activities “that look good for colleges,” encouraging multiple tests, or pressuring a student to conform to a prescribed pathway. 

Our students and their families feel relieved after they talk with us. We are genuinely excited to learn about what the student has already achieved and pursued – and then use their unique experiences as our springboard for discovery and planning. 

Using data, information, and insights, together we create a highly curated, personal plan — not only for college admissions, but for matriculation, as well. For the uncertainty doesn’t end once a college is selected; roommate selection, rush, clubs, AP course credit, dorm decor – in some ways, the most complicated decisions and pressures emerge after the student decides where to attend. It’s nice to have a plan in place from the time the student hits “Accept” on the college portal to the day the student arrives at the first-year dorm. Varsity Vine has you covered from application through matriculation 24/7, and we measure our success by each individual student’s goals.
