Kim Parker

Kim will coordinate discussions and action plans for College Matriculation Planning for our Varsity Vine families. Kim started her career as a recruiter working with several Fortune 500 companies including PepsiCo, Johnson and Johnson and General Mills before serving as a recruiter at Roper St Francis Healthcare. Part of what Kim loved most about her role was recruiting employees from several colleges throughout the country. Seeing college students, resumes in hand, at the end of their collegiate careers underscored to Kim that there are many combinations of ways to have a rewarding academic and extracurricular collegiate career – but it takes knowledge, insight, and planning to help craft the most successful paths. She is looking forward to putting this experience to work helping students with college placement planning. While raising her two girls, Kim served as a community volunteer with many organizations and as a board member of the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama. Kim and her husband, Dan, live in Charleston, SC, have two grown children and a very spoiled dog.
